Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communication, and provides a communication method and apparatus. The present application can increase physical shared channel capacity, and reduce wasting of time-frequency resources. The method comprises: a first device sending control information to a second device. The control information comprises a first field, the first field comprising a number G of bits, and the G bits indicating a number L of rate matching pattern groups; the G bits comprise multiple bit groups, each of the multiple bit groups being a maximum of a number M of physical shared channel indication rate match pattern groups. An i-th rate match pattern group among the L rate match pattern groups indicates an i-th second resource, the i-th second resource being a time-frequency resource that cannot be occupied by an i-th physical shared channel indicated by the control information. The first field may be a rate matching indicator field.
