Abstract:
A method of modulating optical camera communication (OCC) signals by an OCC transmission node in an OCC system comprises the steps of: obtaining binary data signals; grouping the binary data signals by k bits, to convert same into a global phase shift signal having an integer value of M-1(=2k-1); on the basis of a predetermined symbol group mapping table, generating a data signal group by mapping the global phase shift signal onto first to M-th mapping sequences in an n*M/2 bit sequence form; modulating the data signal group to generate a pulse signal; and according to the pulse signal, flickering each of a plurality of light sources included in the OCC transmission node. Therefore, the performance of a communication system can be improved.
