Abstract:

The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technology and provides a communication method which comprises: a control plane entity (CPE) receives a request message including identification information of user equipment; the CPE determines whether to enable a suspending function on the user equipment (UE) corresponding to the identification information; and if the CPE determines that the suspending function on the UE is allowed to be enabled, the CPE sends a message to a Radio Access Network node (RAN Node) connected to the UE, the message comprising indication information indicating that the suspending function is enabled. With the solutions provided by the present embodiment, it is possible to reduce signaling burden and improve network performance. Also disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention are a device and a system.
