Abstract:
Provided in an embodiment of the present application are a communication method and device, the method comprising: determining a second time-frequency resource according to a first time-frequency resource and first information, the first time-frequency resource being a time-frequency resource at a PDSCH candidate location, the second time-frequency resource being a time-frequency resource at a PDCCH candidate location, and the first information comprising or indicating a time interval between the PDSCH candidate location and the PDCCH candidate location; and determining, within a time range corresponding to the second time-frequency resource, a valid PDCCH monitoring timing according to second information, the second information indicating a third time-frequency resource, and the third time-frequency resource comprising a time-frequency resource used for rate matching. Thus, the determined valid PDCCH listening timing excludes a PDCCH listening timing overlapping with the third time-frequency resource, thereby reducing the number of bits of data acknowledgement information sent by a terminal to a network device, and saving network resources.
