Abstract:

A communication method and device for improving the communication efficiency. The method comprises: a base station receiving carrier aggregation capability information from a UE; the base station receiving carrier information from the UE, wherein the carrier information indicates carriers requested to be used by the UE, the carrier information comprises first information, the first information is used for indicating the type of a service corresponding to at least some of the carriers in the carriers requested to be used by the UE, and the carriers requested to be used by the UE contain carriers except all the carriers used by the base station; and the base station sending indication information to the UE according to the carrier aggregation capability information and the carrier information, wherein the indication information is used for indicating that the UE is allowed to use one or more carriers in the carriers requested to be used by the UE.
