Abstract:
Provided are a communication method and device. A first communication device comprises a first interface and a second interface, and a second communication device comprises a third interface and a fourth interface, wherein the first interface is used for communicating with the third interface, and the second interface is used for communicating with the fourth interface. The method comprises: the first communication device sending a wakeup signal to the second communication device through the first interface, wherein the wakeup signal is used for waking up the fourth interface of the second communication device; and the first communication device receiving a WU-ACK sent by the second communication device. The invention avoids the waste of resources caused by the first communication device blindly sending downlink data to the second communication device in the case where the second communication device fails to wake up the fourth interface (for example, the second communication device has not correctly received the wakeup signal, or, the second communication device has correctly received the wakeup signal but has not entered a working state yet).
