Abstract:
A communication method and device, the method comprising: an access point (AP) generating a first frame, wherein the first frame comprises P site information fields, each site information field of the P site information fields corresponds to a resource unit (RU) allocated by a first station (STA), and P is a positive integer greater than 1, wherein each site information field further comprises end indication information for indicating whether a given site information field is the final one of the P site information fields; and the AP sending the first frame to the first STA. Since the AP can allocate P RUs to the first STA and send an indication to the first STA by means of the P site information fields in the first frame, the AP can adopt a more flexible resource allocation mode, thereby effectively improving a frequency selection gain in an OFDMA system and increasing system capacity.
