Abstract:
Provided are a communication method and device. In the invention, a communication parameter of a power line can be determined according to a data frame transmitted on the power line. The data frame consists of multiple OFDM symbols. Since the data frame comprises one or more silent probe units and one or more signal probe units, noise distribution characteristics and channel distribution characteristics of the power line can be obtained according to the data frame. Since channel and noise distribution characteristics of a power line are taken into consideration in a process of determining a communication parameter of the power line according to a data frame, the accuracy of the determined communication parameter can be increased. Moreover, the process does not require switching between frame types, thereby reducing time overheads.
