Abstract:
The present application discloses a communication method. The method comprises: when a radio link failure (RLF) of a first communication apparatus connected to a first donor network apparatus occurs, the first communication apparatus performing an RLF recovery process, and establishing a connection to a second donor network apparatus; the first communication apparatus determining that the first donor network apparatus is a different network apparatus from the second donor network apparatus; and the first communication apparatus sending first information to a second communication apparatus, wherein the first information is used to instruct the second communication apparatus to send a radio resource control (RRC) re-establishment request message, or to instruct the second communication apparatus to acquire system information sent by the first communication apparatus. The technical solution provided by the present application prevents the problem in which a subordinate IAB node or a subordinate UE unit is unware of a change in a donor network apparatus of a parent node and accordingly cannot continue transmission of service data or signaling, thereby ensuring subsequent communications.
