Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method includes: receiving a message transmitted by a first access network device, the message including a first identifier or a third identifier of a user equipment (UE), assigning to the UE a second identifier corresponding to the first identifier or the third identifier, according to the first identifier or the third identifier, and transmitting a first request message to the first access network device, the first request message including the second identifier for using the second identifier as an identifier of the UE by the first access network device to communicate with a network device in an Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN).
