Abstract:

[Problem] To enable a time slot to be allocated in a timely manner in accordance with the function of each active pen. [Solution] The present invention executes, by a sensor controller: a step S2 for supplying a beacon signal that defines the reference time of a frame configured from a plurality of time slots; a step 3 for acquiring, from a downlink signal returned to the beacon signal by a first active pen having a pen tip electrode or a second active pen having a pen tip electrode and a peripheral electrode, function information that indicates whether or not one of the active pens that transmitted the downlink signal has a peripheral electrode; and a step S4 for determining, on the basis of the acquired function information, whether to allocate the one or more time slots to only the pen tip electrode or to allocate the one or more time slots to each of the pen tip electrode and the peripheral electrode.
