Abstract:
A communication method in a certain embodiment of the present invention is performed between a communication device and an electronic apparatus in which a contactless short-range wireless communication system is used. The electronic apparatus is provided with an antenna built in near a first area of one of surfaces exposed to the periphery, the antenna being for contactless short-range wireless communication with the communication device. In this communication method: a packing box, to which information indicating the position of the antenna is attached at a prescribed position on an outer surface, is prepared; the electronic apparatus is housed in the packing box in a power-off state, the electronic apparatus being disposed in the packing box so that the first area of the electronic apparatus comes close to the prescribed position; and the communication device is brought close to the prescribed position of the packing box, whereby communication between the communication device and the electronic apparatus is initiated.
