Abstract:
The present application discloses a communication method and a related apparatus in the technical field of wireless communications. In the technical solutions provided by the present application, an access network device sends a first request message to a core network control plane network element, wherein the first request message comprises a first identifier, the first identifier is used for indicating a user equipment (UE) management service, and the first request message is used for requesting to establish a PDU session of the UE management service; the core network control plane network element configures an IP address, a QoS flow identifier, and first instruction information of a UE according to the first request message, wherein the first instruction information is used for instructing to establish a UE management channel; the core network control plane network element sends a second request message to the access network device, wherein the second request message is used for requesting to establish resource information of the PDU session, and the second request message comprises the IP address, the QoS flow identifier, and the first instruction information of the UE; and the access network device establishes UE management channel information according to the second request message. The management cost of the UE is reduced.
