Abstract:

Provided in the present application are a communication method and a related device, specifically, provided are a method for use in communication rate adjustment and a related device. The method comprises: a distributed network device receives first information from a centralized network device, the first information comprising: packet loss information of a packet data convergence protocol layer of an uplink transmission corresponding to a logical channel and/or a second recommended uplink bitrate for the logical channel, and the distributed network device generates a first recommended uplink bitrate for the logical channel on the basis of the first information and transmits to a terminal device, where the centralized network device is provided with a radio link control layer function, a media access control layer function, and a physical layer function, and the second network device is provided with a packet data convergence protocol layer function, service data adaptation protocol layer function, and a radio resource control layer function. The method of the present application implements the timely and accurate determination of a recommended uplink bitrate for a logical channel.
