Abstract:
The present application provides a communication method and system, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium. The communication method comprises: receiving an Ethernet frame sent by a first terminal; and encapsulating a first port identifier of a first slave gateway and the Ethernet frame into a first gigabit-capable passive optical network encapsulation method (GEM) frame, and sending the first GEM frame to a master gateway, wherein the first port identifier is a port identifier used during communication between optical network units.
