Abstract:
The invention is applicable to the technical field of navigation and communications. Provided are a communication method and system for sharing navigation information. The method comprises: creating, by a server, and according to a group request sent by a navigation terminal, a temporary friends group; receiving, by the server, a navigation route information-sharing request sent by a navigation terminal user in the temporary friends group of the navigation terminal, and sending navigation route information to other navigation terminal users in the temporary friends group; displaying the same navigation route information on navigation terminals of all navigation terminal users in the temporary friends group, and conducting, by the navigation terminals, navigation according to the navigation route information; and deleting, by the server, the temporary friends group after the navigation is complete. The invention can realize synchronized navigation conducted by multiple navigation terminals. When taking a trip, a friend can invite other friends to create a temporary travel group, and location information of all members in the group will be synchronously displayed on navigation maps of navigation terminals. The navigation terminals can mutually communicate to exchange information timely.
