Abstract:
An embodiment of the disclosure relates to a communication method and a terminal. The communication method is applied in a terminal provided with an emergency call button. A battery of the terminal comprises a main battery and a backup battery. The method comprises: when the emergency call button is pressed, determining whether the terminal is in a power-on state; if the terminal is in a power-off state, determining whether a power level of the main battery satisfies a preset startup condition; and if the power level of the main battery does not satisfy the preset startup condition, activating the backup battery to turn on the terminal and send preset information to a preset communication terminal.
