Abstract:
A communication monitor system (1) comprises: a gateway device (10) that relays data communicated between the Internet (N1) and a home network (N2); and a communication monitor device (20). The gateway device (10) comprises: first and second communication units (11, 12) that perform data communications with the Internet (N1) and home network (N2), respectively; and first and second output units (13, 14) that are associated with the first and second communication units (11, 12) and that convert the data communicated by the first and second communication units (11, 12) to optical signals having respective different wavelengths and then output the optical signals. The communication monitor device (20) comprises: first and second reception units (21, 22) that receive the optical signals outputted from the first and second output units (13, 14); and a display unit (24) that displays information related to the data acquired from the optical signals received by the first and second reception units (21, 22).
