Abstract:
Disclosed is a communication network management method comprising: a communication network constituted by a plurality of communication devices; and a management system, wherein packets are transferred among the plurality of communication devices via communication paths established by the management system. The communication network management method is characterized in that the method has: a first establishment policy that, when the management system establishes communication paths, consolidates communication paths sharing even a segment of the same path in the communication network for a first service requiring an assurance of availability; and a second establishment policy that establishes communication paths such that paths to be used are dispersed in the whole communication network for a second service that does not assure any availability, and in that the method changes the establishment policies according to the types of the services.
