Abstract:
[Problem] To efficiently distribute a bad packet detection process among ad-hoc network nodes. [Solution] A node comprises: a storage unit that associates and stores a counter value and verification information that sets whether to execute a verification process that verifies whether or not a packet is bad; an assessment unit that upon receiving a packet that contains a message, contains a header including a forwarding address and a counter value, and contains code information for verifying whether or not the packet is bad, assesses whether or not to execute the verification process on the basis of the verification information associated with the counter value stored in memory, said counter value corresponding to the counter value contained in the received packet; a generation unit that, if it was determined to execute the verification process, executes the verification process for the received packet and generates a packet having the counter value changed to an initial value; and a sending unit that sends the packet generated by the generation unit, said packet being sent to the forwarding address.
