Abstract:
A communication service providing method comprises the steps of: establishing a communication connection between a first user terminal and a second user terminal by using one of an internet communication (voice over internet protocol; VoIP) mode or a general communication mode, and; checking the connected state of a communication connection corresponding to the internet communication mode or a communication connection corresponding to the general communication mode, while a communication connection is maintained between the first user terminal and the second user terminal; and determining whether to switch the maintained communication connection to another communication connection by using the connected state of the communication connection corresponding to the internet communication mode or the communication connection corresponding to the general communication mode.
