Abstract:
Provided is a communication system including a terminal, a server device which manages movement of the terminal, and a connection device which connects the terminal to the server device. Here, the connection device records a MAC address of the terminal and correlates the maintenance function execution required/not required information indicating whether the maintenance function for the terminal is required, with the terminal MAC address when recording the information. The connection device transmits a message containing the maintenance function execution required/not required information correlated to the terminal MAC address, to the server device by using a Mobile IP.
