Abstract:
When data is transmitted from a data relay apparatus (3) to a mobile terminal (5) via multiple base stations (4), the multiple base stations (4) assign a sequence number to the data and transmit the data to the mobile terminal (5). When first and second data for the mobile terminal (5) is transmitted to different base stations (4) from among the multiple base stations (4), the data relay apparatus (3) transmits the first data, the first data being received earlier than the second data, to one of the base stations (4), attaches information corresponding to the order of reception of the first and second data to the second data, and transmits the second data to the other of the base stations (4). When the information is attached to the data transmitted from the data relay apparatus (3), each of the multiple base stations (4) assigns a sequence number to the data on the basis of the information and transmits the data to the mobile terminal (5).
