Provided is a communication system which can solve the problem that communication security cannot be assured in a communication between a femto cell base station and a UE. The communication system includes: a UE (User Equipment) and an HLR (Home Location Register) which are used in an IMS (IP Multimedia subsystem) network; and a femto cell base station (Femto AP) which configures a predetermined communication area.  The femto cell base station exists between the UE and the HLR so as to acquire a confidential key corresponding to the UE from the HLR and execute a confidential process of the UE according to the confidential key upon authentication of the UE.
