Abstract:

When an STA has received first to fifth SSW frames 61A to 61E (first training frames) transmitted from an AP, the STA measures the reception quality thereof, includes a reception quality measurement result Result_STA in an SSW-ACK frame 64 (first feedback frame), and transmits the SSW-ACK frame 64 to the AP. As a result, on the basis of the Result_STA the AP selects a beam pattern matching a predetermined selection criterion as a transmission beam pattern to be used for transmission to the STA.
