Abstract:
This communication system (1) is provided with: a flow collector (30) which collects traffic at NW edges (12) that house CPEs (11); an NFVO (50) which instructs resource expansion/reduction of VNFs (22); a resource management device (40) which, on the basis of change in traffic at the NW edges (12) collected by the flow collector (30), notifies the NFVO (50) of the amount of increase or decrease in resources and of expansion/reduction instructions of the VNFs (22), and which, in response to the NFVO (50) implementing expansion/reduction of the VNFs (22), determines VNFs (22) that should be the destination of traffic at the NW edges (12); a VIM (60) which implements the expansion or reduction of the VNFs (22) in accordance with instructions of the NFVO (50); and a flow controller (70) which indicates, as the traffic destination, the VNFs (22) determined by the resource management device (40) to the NW edges (12).
