Abstract:
Provided is a communication system provided with a space-side transmission device and a ground-side reception device. The space-side transmission device modulates data that is to be transmitted to the ground-side reception device into a single-carrier signal and sends out the single-carrier signal. The ground-side reception device receives a signal arriving from the space-side transmission device, converts the same into a digital signal, and outputs the digital signal. The digital signal is accumulated and recorded as waveform information. The recorded waveform information is read out at a different symbol rate than the symbol rate sent out by the space-side transmission device, a demodulation process based on the waveform information is applied, and the data that was to be transmitted is reproduced.
