Abstract:
Provided are a communication system, a control device, a router, and its communication
method which eliminates a packet loss in handover and effectively release router
resource in a network base IP mobility protocol which can be moved without requiring
a mobile terminal to mount a special protocol. When a mobile terminal MN1 moves,
a router and a mobile access gateway (MAG) (b3) of the movement destination which
has received a router solicitation from MN1 transmits a location registration
to a control device and a local mobility anchor (LMA) (4). When the LMA4 judges
that a handover is present, LMA4 instructs the router movement source and MAGa2
or MAGb3 to transfer buffer from MAGa2 to MAGb3.
