This communication system is provided with a first communication device (10), a second communication device (20), and a third communication device (30). The first communication device outputs high-frequency alternating current power from a first antenna (12), and a receiving circuit (23) of the second communication device receives the high-frequency alternating current power through a second antenna (22). Between the second antenna and the receiving circuit are disposed a power cable (60) including a first power cable having first semicircular arc portions (61a, 62a, 63a) and a second power cable having second semicircular arc portions (61b, 62b, 63b) that in combination with the first semicircular arc portions form loop antennas (61, 62, 63). Through a third antenna (32), the third communication device receives the high-frequency alternating current power output by the loop antennas. At least two communication devices from among the first communication device, the second communication device, and the third communication device transmit and receive communication signals through the respective antennas. In sections other than the loop antennas, the first power cable and the second power cable constitute twisted cables.
