Abstract:

In the disclosed communication terminal formed from loading a card antenna module at a terminal casing having an antenna, the degree of coupling between the terminal casing-side antenna and the module-side antenna is suppressed to a minimum, and the module-side antenna is caused to operate in a manner so as to have desired frequency characteristics. The communication terminal is provided with: the terminal casing (10) provided with the terminal casing-side antenna (11); and the card antenna module (101) loaded at the terminal casing (10). The card antenna module (101) is provided with: a coupling coil (21) that is disposed at a position that approaches the terminal casing-side antenna (11) and that couples with the terminal casing-side antenna (11) via as magnetic field; and a module-side antenna (22) that is disposed at a position that more distant from the terminal casing-side antenna (11) than the coupling coil (21) is.
