Abstract:
This portable communication terminal device performs communication for telephone calls. In cases (SA1; YES) when an incoming telephone call is present, the communication terminal device measures the orientation and displacement thereof, and determines (SA2, SA3) whether conditions for when being held in the hand of a user are satisfied. After (SA3; YES) it is determined that the conditions for when being held in the hand of the user are satisfied, the communication terminal device determines (SA5; YES) that the approach of the head of the user has been detected, and furthermore, in cases (SA7; YES) when it is determined that an utterance by the user was detected during the detection of the approach of the head of the user, executes (SA8) notification processing for notifying the user that the incoming call will be answered, and answers (SA9) the incoming call.
