Abstract:
A portable communication terminal device 10 has a function to communicate for a telephone call. The communication terminal device 10 is also provided with an proximity sensor for detecting that an object (head of a user) has approached the communication terminal device and an acceleration sensor for measuring the motion state of the communication terminal device. When the motion state measured by the acceleration sensor satisfies a prescribed condition (Yes in S4, S5) after states have transitioned during a call from a state in which the approach of an object is detected by the proximity sensor to a state in which the approach of same is not detected (Yes in S2, S3), the communication terminal device 10 performs call terminal control for terminating the call (S6). This condition for the motion state is determined on the basis of a motion performed consciously by a user such as a motion of shaking the communication terminal device 10.
