Abstract:

Provided are a sensor node communication terminal (20) and a wireless sensor network system to which a plurality of sensor node communication terminals (20) are applicable. The sensor node communication terminal includes: a sensor (21) which is capable of collecting sensor information with self-sustaining timing at a location where the sensor is set up; a control unit (24) which is connected to the sensor (21) and capable of computing the sensor information; a memory (22) connected to the control unit (24); a wireless transmit/receive unit (26) connected to the control unit (24); an antenna (28) which is connected to the wireless transmit/receive unit (26) and capable of wirelessly transmitting the sensor information or the result of computation of the sensor information; a power supply unit (32) connected to the control unit (24); and a timer (30) connected to the control unit (24), the sensor node communication terminal (20) being capable of receiving second wireless transmission data from a host for a predetermined duration after the end of transmission of the wireless transmission data. The communication terminal and the wireless sensor network system can perform power-saving communications.
