Abstract:
Provided is a communication terminal (200) equipped with an acceleration sensor (270), a position acquisition antenna (230), a communication antenna (260), and a processor (210). The processor transmits, via the communication antenna, present position information acquired by using the position acquisition antenna and acceleration information acquired by using the acceleration sensor in a normal operation mode, restricts transmission of the acceleration information or the present position information in a sleep mode, and is transitioned from the normal operation mode to the sleep mode when no vibration is detected via the acceleration sensor for a time period equal to or longer than a predetermined time period.
