Abstract:
This communication unit is provided with: a rectangular parallelepiped casing; an antenna; a communication module; and an external terminal. The casing has edges parallel to a first direction, a second direction, and a third direction, which intersect each other. The edge of the casing parallel to the first direction is longer than the edges of the casing parallel to the second and third directions. The casing has one end and the other end at both ends along the first direction. The antenna is positioned closer to said one-end side than to the center of the casing in the first direction, and the communication module and the external terminal are positioned closer to said other-end side than to the center of the casing in the first direction.
