Abstract:
Provided is communications equipment capable of performing efficient data transfer without being environmentally limited. The communications equipment receives data of a window size from transmitting equipment (200) connected through a network (300) by notifying the transmitting equipment (200) of a data quantity as a window size. The communications equipment is provided with a buffer memory (120) for reception which has a region for storing a data packet transmitted from the transmitting equipment (200); a communications protocol processing section (130), which informs the transmitting equipment (200) of a window size larger than the capacity of the buffer memory (120), receives the data packet transmitted from the transmitting equipment (200) corresponding to the notified window size and stores the data packet in the buffer memory (120); and a central control section (140) for taking out and processing the data packet stored in the buffer memory (120).
