Abstract:
To more efficiently perform SM swapping. A mobile communications device (1) performing mobile communications comprises: a mounting unit (10) that mounts an embedded Subscriber Identity Module (eSIM) (11) that stores an operational profile (OP) and a provisioning profile (PP); a PP reception unit (13) that receives a PP for an SM (3b) corresponding to a destination mobile communications network (4b), via a mobile communications network (4a) for an OP stored in the eSIM (11), and stores the received PP in the eSIM (11); and an OP reception unit (15) that communicates with the SM (3b), using the stored PP for the SM (3b), receives the OP for the mobile communications network (4b), and stores same in the eSIM (11).
