Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to perform communications control such that there is reduced impact on a service for a user and the overall communications traffic volume is reduced. A communications traffic control device is provided that allocates to each of a plurality of terminals a communications path capacity being the maximum amount of information that can be communicated per unit time. The communications traffic control device: divides communications by each terminal into first communications originating in a first processing and second communications originating in a second processing requiring greater communications path capacity than the first processing; calculates a concentrated time band being a time band in which the second communications are more frequent in comparison to other time bands, for each terminal; and reduces the communications path capacity allocated to the terminal for time bands other than the concentrated time band to less than the communications path capacity allocated to the terminal for the concentrated time band for the terminal.
