Abstract:

This commutator motor is equipped with an armature that comprises an armature core having multiple teeth and slots, an armature coil, and a commutator having multiple segments. The armature coil includes multiple coil units, which are formed by winding windings around the teeth, and multiple connecting line units for connecting between the coil units. The segment group includes first and second segments to which the coil units are connected and third segments to which only the connecting line units are connected. Each first segment and each second segment are arranged adjacent to each other, and each third segment is located next to the first and second segments. Then, each of the included connecting line units connects the coil units such that a line reaching one of the coil units from the third segment and a line reaching the other coil unit both pass through the same slot.
