Abstract:
A commutator motor capable of utilizing any of dc and ac power supplies and superior in the function of preventing the burning of coil wires during overload. This commutator motor includes an iron core having a plurality of slots, a rotary shaft inserted centrally through the iron core, and a pair of first and second commutators mounted on the rotary shaft at both ends of the iron core. The first commutator has a first coil wire connected thereto, the first coil wire being wound on the bottom of the slot to form an inner coil portion. The second commutator has connected thereto a second coil having a smaller diameter than that of the first coil wire, the second coil wire being wound on the inner coil in the slot to form an outer coil portion.
