Abstract:
A U-shaped frame (12) is configured such that the frame (12) is fixed to the end of a first shaft (11) and penetrated by a second shaft (13), and main mirrors (5) are supported on the second shaft (13) which protrudes beyond the frame (12). This allows the frame (12) to be small so that the heliostat (4) is compact and lightweight. Because a sensor mirror (18) is near the first shaft (11) and the second shaft (13), the movement of the sensor mirror (18) is minimized even when rotated about the first shaft (11) and the second shaft (13), but the ability of the sensor mirror (18) to reflect light from the sun is not impaired.
