Abstract:
A compatibilising agent having a number average molecular weight of 1,500 - 100,000 and containing a polymer (A) obtained by reacting a modified olefin polymer (a-1) with a polymer containing a terminal functional group (a-2), wherein the modified olefin polymer (a-1) is a polymer modified with a 0.01 - 2% by mass unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, and polymer (a-2) is a condensation polymer or ring-opening polymer containing a terminal functional group that can react with the modified olefin polymer (a-1) at one or both ends. Thus provided is an excellent compatibilising agent. In particular, provided is a recycling aid which provides a sufficient improvement to the adherence of degraded resin to the molding machine screw, to gumming, to fish eye generation and to transparency reduction when melt molding recycled materials from multilayer structures containing EVOH layers and thermoplastic resin layers.
