Abstract:
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a compensation method and compensation apparatus for a display panel, and a display apparatus and a storage medium. The compensation method comprises: taking a first display grayscale of a first display area as a reference display grayscale, and acquiring a second display grayscale of a second display area after a user performs adjustment on the second display area; according to the first display grayscale and the second display grayscale, determining a difference coefficient between the second display area and the first display area in the current use duration of a display panel; determining a compensation starting duration for the second display area according to the difference coefficient and a pre-stored display compensation curve for the second display area, wherein the display compensation curve is a variation curve of the relationship between the use duration of the second display area and the difference coefficient between the second display area and the first display area; and performing compensation for the second display area from the current moment according to the use duration of the display panel, the compensation starting duration and the display compensation curve.
