Abstract:
Provided is a prediction system that makes it possible to compare the actions of competitors, such as players or horses, that appear before and during a competition with the actions of competitors in the past, and to make a prediction in consideration of an impact on the competitions. The present invention comprises: a past result acquisition unit that acquires past competition videos and competition results of competitions that were carried out by competition objects in the past; a past result information generation unit that extracts a video of characteristic motions from the past competition videos as a past characteristic motion video, and generates past result information on the basis of a combination of the past characteristic motion video and the competition results; a current video acquisition unit that acquires a current competition video of a competition that is being carried out by the competition objects, and extracts, from the current competition video, a current characteristic motion video in which a motion corresponding to the past characteristic motion video is included; and a prediction unit that predicts, from a comparison of the current characteristic motion video and the past characteristic motion video, the result of the competition that is being carried out by the competition objects.
