Title:
COMPLEMENT OF LIGHT PARTS FOR IN-LINE FOUR-STROKE ENGINES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003029701
Kind Code:
A8
Abstract:
The invention relates to a complement of light parts for in-line four-stroke engines comprising pistons, bolts, connecting rods, bolt rings and a crankshaft. Said parts can be used to enhance the performance of any in-line four-stroke Diesel or Otto engine used in the automotive and maritime industries owing to the very light weight thereof on said pistons, bolts, connecting rods, bolt rings and crankshaft counter weights. The most significant feature of the aforementioned parts lies in the fact that (i) there is a direct contact between the pistons and the connecting rods and (ii) the counter weights used in the crankshaft are extremely long and very thin. The purpose of the invention is the production of enhanced-performance engines which better conserve important natural resources and, as a result, better respect the environment.
