Abstract:
Provided are: a complex connector allowing multiple electric wires to be mutually short-circuited and connected externally; and a production method for the complex connector. This complex connector comprises short-circuit members (30A), relay terminals (30B), and an insulation housing (HG). Each of the short-circuit members (30A) comprises a short-circuiting intermediate base portion (32A) and, protruding therefrom in a first protrusion direction and a second protrusion direction respectively, a plurality of short-circuiting first and second male type terminal portions (34A, 36A), each capable of mating with a short-circuiting female type terminal (20A). Each of the relay terminals (30B) comprises a relaying intermediate base portion (32B) and, protruding therefrom in the first and second protrusion directions, relaying first and second male type terminal portions (34B, 36B) capable of mating with an external connection female type terminal (20B) and an external circuit female type terminal (20C), respectively. The intermediate base portions (32A, 32B) are arranged along a straight line extending in a terminal arrangement direction. The short-circuiting and relaying first male type terminal portions (34A, 34B) are arranged along the terminal arrangement direction. The short-circuiting and relaying second male type terminal portions (36A, 36B) are arranged in the terminal arrangement direction.
