Title:
COMPLEX CONTAINING PROTEIN WITH LIGAND BINDING CAPACITY, AND METHOD OF SCREENING SUBSTANCE CAPABLE OF BINDING TO PROTEIN WITH LIGAND BINDING CAPACITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2005/111071
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A complex comprising (1) a protein with ligand binding capacity, or derivative thereof, selected from the group consisting of a protein capable of specific binding to a ligand, a fragment of the protein containing a ligand binding site, and a substance containing a polypeptide containing the above protein or fragment, and (2) a partner substance capable of specific binding to, at sites other than the ligand binding site, the protein with ligand binding capacity or derivative thereof. Further, there is provided a method of screening with the use of this complex.
