The present invention appropriately executes advance deployment of components. This component advance deployment assistance system has a server, the server comprising: a malfunction prediction unit for predicting a malfunction of a machine on the basis of operation information about the machine; an area/customer characteristic estimation unit for estimating a characteristic of an area or a characteristic of a customer possessing or using a machine, on the basis of data related to the machine possessed or used by a customer; an order reception probability calculation unit for calculating an order reception probability, which is the probability of receiving an order for a component related to the machine, on the basis of outputs from the malfunction prediction unit and the area/customer characteristic estimation unit; and an advance deployment profit/loss calculation unit for calculating a profit/loss for a case in which the component is deployed in advance to a base near where the machine is located, on the basis of the order reception probability.
