Abstract:
A rear transmission case 10 for housing a transmission and for fastening to a front transmission case is configured so as to comprise: at least one long boss 31, which is disposed on the periphery of a flanged mating surface 20 of the transmission case 10 that is overlaid on the front transmission case when the rear transmission case is fastened thereto, and in which a fastening hole 33, formed so as to extend from the flanged mating surface 20 in a first direction (Y direction) that intersects with the flanged mating surface 20 and into which a fastening bolt is inserted, is formed; and ribs 41, 42 that extend in a second direction, which intersects with the first direction, at positions at a distance from the flanged mating surface 20 in the first direction and that are bonded on the outside of the long boss 31 on the first direction-side of the flanged mating surface 20.
