Abstract:
Disclosed is a component detection device that is attached to a component processing means, which performs a predetermined operation on a conductive component provided between two conductive members, and that distinguishes between the conductive component and a conductive foreign matter, which are provided between the two conductive members, by means of a detection circuit (41) which is electrically connected between the conductive members. The detection circuit (41) includes: a reference-voltage-generating circuit section (43) that generates a reference voltage on the basis of an input voltage; a voltage-comparing circuit section (44) that compares the reference voltage and a detection voltage that is input from a detection terminal; and a sensitivity-adjusting circuit section (45) that adjusts the detection voltage in a manner such that the detection voltage for when a conductive component is provided between the conductive members becomes equal to or less than the reference voltage and such that the detection voltage for when a conductive foreign matter is provided between the conductive members becomes greater than the reference voltage.
